Top Stove Take 1 cup of Brown Basmati Rice and rinse gently at least twice (or until water runs clear) to remove starch. It is highly recommended to soak Crown Basmati rice in tap water at room temperature for 25-30 minutes for extra length. Bring 1.5 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan with a tight-fitting lid. Add 1 cup of rice, cover, and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until the water is absorbed. Once the cooking process is finished, leave the rice cooked. CAUTION: THE PLATE IS HOT! MICROWAVE Take 1 cup of Crown Basmati Rice and rinse gently at least twice (or until water runs clear) to remove starch. Drain the rice and add cup of water. Cover with a microwave-safe lid and cook on a high-power setting for 15 minutes. Remove from microwave and leave on a plate for 5 minutes. CAUTION: THE PLATE IS HOT! ELECTRIC KITCHEN Take 1 cup of Crown Basmati Rice and rinse gently at least twice (or until water runs clear) to remove starch. Use 1.5 cups of water for every 1 cup of dry rice. Cook on high power setting for 15 minutes. Remove from microwave and leave on a plate for 5 minutes. CAUTION: THE PLATE IS HOT!
